You can get something called Flubenvet from the vets or animal feed merchants really cheaply which is a powder that you add to their food for a week. There is no need to throw away eggs while they're being treated. They won't spoil them. You can also get Panacur liquid, and it's good for dogs, cats & chickens (and other birds too, pheasants & grouse get wormed on the moors with this, apparently, you just work the dosage out per 100g of weight. It's not esp. cheap, (£17 or thereabouts from the vet, but no prescription necessary) but one bottle will do my chickens, two cats, one dog for a year with 3-monthly dose. Quite how yo feed it to your chickens I've no idea, but mixed in with yogurt and mixed with mash might work, if your hens like mash enough.
