Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Hi I think i've finally convinced my OH to get an Eglu for our chickens. He s in the RAF and has gone away for a month and one of his friends out there has got a cube and was telling him how great they are (he never believes me). Now I have to think about a colour, I see that they bring out special colours, when and how often do they do this? and what is the most popular colour?

Well lilac was the last guest colour of eglu, but I'm not sure if they have any left, so you'd have to give them a ring.

 

They also introduced brown as a guest colour also-a few years ago also.

I think the orange is gorgeous, its not a limited edition colour but if you have lots of greenery in your garden it looks really fresh and citrussy against the green plants. I wouldnt part with my orange eglu ever!

Yeah lavender pekins, they are so cute with the feathers on there legs, such characters too.

Here's our cube which, I think you'll agree is Orange is FAB!!

 

 

Failing that we have a yellow eglu "on loan" which is also

 

 

Of course you might be able to sell it to your OH better if you get him "Airforce Blue"!!

we have a lilac which whilst going with absolutely nothing in the garden certainly stands out - looks like it would go well with your chooks too

I have green which does look nice and environmental! I really really wanted a bright colour like pink or orange but was told a very firm NO by OH! Green or nothing! It does look nice in our garden and was proudly showing photos yesterday to my friends and they all thought it looked fab!

Lilac is fantastic - really lovely if you have a green garden as we do - it makes up for the lack of colour due to flowers mysteriously disappearing after free-ranging sessions too!
