Guest
I'm glad to hear you both had a good time. We had a terrible journey up on Thursday and so time in Huddersfield with my DD1 was too short. So on Friday my friend and I went back to Huddersfield to see her again. We stopped on the way at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park http://www.ysp.co.uk which is an excellent place. The children all had a great time running around and although we spent a couple of hours there we hardly touched the surface of this enormous park. We then went on to Huddersfield and up to the top of Castle Hill from where there were the most incredible views. So, I didn't get into York itself at all this time, but it was a lovely couple of days.

Guest
Ginette with Lieblich , Mixture , Vox , Flute and Diapason and Mélodie , Harmonie and Echo What lovely names. Had to look Diapason up ... now much wiser. The great thing is there are over 1000 stop names, so no limit on the number of hens I can have! Guest
Errr . . . I've never come across an organ with those stops on it. I think you'll need to explain to me what prompted you to think of those names, I'm sorry I just don't get it. But I can be quite slow sometimes! Egluntyne
I'm even more baffled now! I can imagine the looks I would get if I shouted those names up the garden. My neighbours chortle enough as it is, especially when I call "Artemiiiiiiiiiiis!"
