Cooks
As some of you may know I work in children's nursery and we decided just before the end of term to clear out some older bikes that were not getting used, I therefore listed them on freecycle and here Freecyclers have been great and bombarding me with requests so it looks like all are now taken.... but my point is I have had so many that just say.. "yes I'll take them all, tell me where and when." "Yes I'll have them." "me." I have just found a way of checking freecyclers history so that's great, but do others have this where people reply and just want everything?? I was also listing a slide and one person wanted the bikes and the slide!.. so 6 bikes and one slide?? large family?? I think not!
Old Speckled Hen
Yes there was somebody here that freecycled a rabbit hutch only for it to appear on Preloved for £40 How DO you check members history? It would be useful to know as I do freecycle and it's horrid to think a dealer gets the stuff free.
earthmam1
Hi I too would love to know how to check the history. I also have freecycled things that my boys have grown out of - lego etc and have only given it to people I recognise on freecycvle
The Dogmother
This subject comes up every once in a while and I have had problems with Freecycle before - there seem to be certain people on our local board, who always grab anything 'carbootable', and I mean grab - they aren't very well mannered in their responses. My items go to the first polite taker Having said that, I've had nothing but praise for our local board recently
Cooks
Well I am not sure if is the same for every area, as I am only a member of Cambridgshire but just under 'post' where you post a message there is 'messages' you cick on that and then in the search engine part you enter the persons email address leaving out the last part ie.. freecyclegrabber not freecyclegrabber.aol.com Does that make sense? I wil be checking this in future before I make my decision.

bronze
The problem with that is it only shows messages on freecycle. Becaus eof grabby people I oftendon't post offereds but keep a look out for people wanting something then email them to say I have one. This wouldn't come up though.
