How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

I had almost given up hope that we would get any eggs this year, but after chipping off the ice and first snow this morning, there was a little beauty inside in the nesting box.

 

I took a pic with an egg box for scale, though it looks a bit lonely in there...!

 

 

Not sure who laid it yet, but Peggy has looked the most likely.

No, it is safe indoors on the side while we are at work... Not very big so we will have to think what to make out of it!

I'd fry it, then you can see just how different and nice freshly layed one behaves in a frying pan (not all runny like ones from the supermarket) and you can all dip a bit of toast into it then too!

oh fab! We thought our girls wouldn't lay this side of Christmas either but they started laying a few weeks back and we're getting an average of 12eggs/week

The Girls kept trooping in together - always most puzzling for us blokes, so it seemed apt.

 

I just photocopied a loo sign and cut the shape out of some sticky-backed-plastic with scissors... I was never any good at the tinsel hanger Advent Calendar, so this was my chance to prove my skills extend beyond poo-picking!

 

Meanwhile, thanks for your replies and we were delighted to find a second Egg yesterday. Hooray... and we can cook something sensible now!

Think there must be something about the snow. We'd about given up on eggs before the spring, but had a wonderful surprise from one of the ladies this morning. A tiny egg though - I've taken a piccy of it in an eglu box with a "medium" hen egg. Think we might need a few more for an omelette.

Hoping to have enough by next weekend to make my Christmas cake.
