cluckingmad
Fiddlesticks! Took some pics of the girls this evening but don't know how to post them up... all help gratefully recieved!!
mostin
I found the easiest way was to open a flickr account (go to flickr.com) as your pictures have to be on a public web site to be able to be seen on here. Then you click on the Img button that appears when you are writing a post and post the web pic address between the two brackets.

cluckingmad
ta! Will try again later - meanwhile had to go "ahhh" last night - there's been a little sparring going on today through the mesh between Mollie and Esme but things have clamed down well.. decided to give the ladies some raisins as a treat.... Martha and Mollie couldn't have cared less but Millie scoffed the lot! We've only had them 3 days and she's already eating out of my hand Gotta love that chicken
dancing cloud
It is a real "aahh" moment isn't it? Ex-batts are full of those (and I'm sure chickens with feathers are too!)
HENthusiastic
Well done for rescuing ex-batts. I hope you enjoy watching them have their first experiences of a better life. I have a soft spot for my ex-batt ladies. Hope you manage to get some pics sorted.
cluckingmad
Oh I am so excited! We finished the ex-batt girls' new run at the w/e (its just an aluminium frame with chicken mesh over, but allows them to exercise a bit more)... and this lunchtime I've gone out ot see them to find their first egg, neatly in the nest box Think I am just about the proudest Chicken Mummy in the world!
