I'm very happy for you. Did you do it electronically? I've had an e.mail from the FSCS saying I will be getting instructions soon as to how to move it back to my account, I guess they are doing it gradually so as not to crash the site As I thought the money was lost I'm not going to reinvest all of it, I have my eye on one of those really cool Smeg fridge freezers

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, everyone.

It has been even more worrying as most of it is earmarked for Revenue and Customs

after the sale of my business when I retired and as everyone knows they,(R & C), don't take prisoners.

All went well on receipt of instructions from the FSCS and money was moved, though takes 5 days to clear into bank account, in the stroke of four or five computer keys.
