Richard T
In another topic Claret mentioned that she does the Race for Life. If anybody is interested in doing some running for charity then you might like to know that Cancer Research UK has some runs coming up in September and October across the UK. Here's a link: http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/10k/ Don't be put off by the distance. Wendy and I have done quite a few runs like this in the last few years and we mostly walked the first few until a bit of training led to us managing to run the whole distance. And there's loads of people who just walk the whole way. But from taking those first few faltering steps, Wendy and I have both gone on to do a marathon. If you don't fancy doing a run but would like to sponsor someone then I'm sure that could be arranged. Richard T

Lesley
Becoming a sponsor is more my line these days

Richard T
Wendy should have a place in the London marathon next year so keep your eyes peeled for a sponsorship opportunity. I'll be applying too, but probably won't get in. Richard T
