Looney
Just spied this Cookbook on Amazon. Anyone already got a copy? And if yes, what's it like?!
Egluntyne
I like the look of this book! The author must be an Omleteer at heart as she gives us permission to eat cake.....for breakfast! It is now on my ever growing Christmas list.

Egluntyne
I think my finger accidentally touched the *buy it now with one click* button. Damn. Never mind I shall wrap it up and give it to myself from one of the boys. It will be a lovely surprise because by Christmas I shall have forgotten all about it. redhotchick
You can read quite a few pages of this on Amazon. I actually stopped reading before the free preview pages had run out. I'm not buying it but it's only £4.50, a magazine costs nearly that much these days!

TAJ
So my thrifty tea was homemade pasta (using eggs from the garden), with tuna & sweetcorn (sweetcorn from the allotment) in a white sauce with cheese. I think that is proably a meal for 3 for about £1. That will make up for my meat birds that are currently up to costing £80 each if I include costs such as Rablu, heat lamp, etc. Oh well you win some you lose some!
