AMS
It's just wrong, wrong, wrong - 2 teenage lads knocked on the door yesterday evening and started singing Jingle Bells I told them that they had to be kidding and to come back next month... Snowy
I think I'd have said the same! (although it is nearly the end of November - where has the time gone?? )
Egluntyne
Especially as Jingle bells hardly counts.......I'd be expecting something like Once in Royal David's City...at least 4 of the verses too.....and I'm not religious. Cheeky beggars.
Ain't Nobody Here
For goodness sake . And I was cross with Morrisons for putting their Christmas tree up already .
Old Speckled Hen
No No No it's far too early. I don't really feel Christmassy till the week before when hopefully most of the shopping is done, the tree is up and you have time to relax in front of the fire in the dark evenings rather than running around like a headless chicken (oops sorry )
Mrs Webmuppet
It's not even Advent yet! I have to say Christmas doesn't really start Chez Webmuppet until I decree it can ( usually once I have everything under control with just the last few bits of food shopping to do!) missuscluck
Agreed. Far to early. Perhaps they were trying to get some cash together to buy presents for their mums. Were they any good??

Egluntyne
Perhaps they were trying to get some cash together to buy presents for their mums. I had far less worthy thoughts than this. Wouldn't it be lovely if this was the reason.
Chook n Boo Mum
No No No it's far too early. I don't really feel Christmassy till the week before when hopefully most of the shopping is done, the tree is up and you have time to relax in front of the fire in the dark evenings rather than running around like a headless chicken (oops sorry ) If DH had his way the tree would go up on Christmas Eve & come down on Boxing Day! As he runs a hotel, obviously that is not going to happen! I will go in & put up the tree on 1st Dec, so all (any!) December Christmas parties will have a bit of festive stuff around, & the rest of the decs will go up around the 14th, once the children have finished school & can help me. That will also be after DH's birthday (8th), so at least he'll be happy there's not too much been done for then! Our tree etc will also go up once the children come home from school for the holidays - hopefully our extension will be finished by then & I will have cleared the thick layer of dust from most of the house........
