Reikiranf
I haven't tried a local Supercuts but I went to the one in Lakeside once, It's hard to work out the cost as they charge for everything separately, I just wanted a wet cut, having already washed it a few hours earlier & thought she'd wet it with water spray but no! She washed it so that cost more as did having conditioner on it, I didn't want it blowdried either but she said "you can't go out with wet hair I'll just dry it a bit" so low and behold my haircut ended up costing almost twice what I'd expected it to be My friend had hers cut too and it was such a good cut that next time it needed cutting she went back and asked for the same lady, they don't like people to do this as being the "McDonalds of hairdressing" they like people to go to the first available stylist. My friend waited for ages and ended up looking like Rod Stewart Our first port of call after leaving there was to the little girls room so my friend could wet her hair and try to restyle it the best she could, neither of us has gone back to Supercuts. Angels4
They are meant to have an "ala carte" menu, but you shouldn't be expected to pay for something you are not needing done. They make you pay extra for a conditioner and to request a specific stylist? I find that to be most unacceptable. I'm dissapointed to read some of the reviews I've read about the SupercutsUK (on www.reviewcentre.com and www.grumbletext.com ) No wonder they are considered to be the "McDonalds" of the haircare industry. Guest
I've used Supercuts a couple of time and I think they are VERY expensive. I've had James' hair cut there and its been the most expensive cut I've ever got for him - even more than using a senior stylist at my Salon. Previously I had my hair cut there and it cost as much as my usual salon and the cut was nothing great.
