Goodness, has anyone seen him lately poor chap.

 

He caught a flesh eating bug whilst filming in Peru, looks nothing like the fit man he once was. I was really shocked when I saw the picture of him. Hope he recovers

oooh poor chap. I just googled it and it sounds like he's been through a terrible time.

I saw a picture in The sun and he looked really awful.

I saw that in the news a while back . I hope he recovers completely - he was lovely in Castaway on Taransay in 2000. He seems like a nice bloke.

Poor man! - I'd heard it but not seen what he looks like.

He should make a good recovery, unfortunately the treatment is worse than the disease. I saw him in the Summer and now he looks as anyone would when they have been so unwell. Poor chap indeed and speedy recovery to him.

 

Now I know why I don't travel the world and am happy with Scotland for my far flung adventures.

20 odd years ago, I came back from an extended trip in Africa with amoebic dysentery; I weighed a shade over 6.5 stone (lost a stone) and was very poorly... took ages to get rid of too
