just thinking, they'd look so cool as place cards, just pop the name under the wing where the white bit of paper shows through.

 

I'm definitely going to knock a few out and use as gift tags. Thought I might just use a hole punch through the tail and thread some ribbon through The white bit at the base is perfect for writing a short message

I really like the paper on that last one, as Lesley says, it really suits her. I'm terrible at following instructions but i'll see if OH fancies having a go. One of the first things he did when i met him was make a jumping frog from my five pound note.

I've made one . I did in in a few minutes while waiting for my friend to pick me up for our step class so it doesn't look at good as your one Poet . The beak's not quite right .

Start with an A3 sheet of paper - cut into square - follow video - PAUSE it at EVERY step - mine is sitting looking at me right now!! (almost as bad as the real thing!!!)

I thought you could make them out of wrapping paper and hang them on your Christmas tree, just another idea?

I've made one out of a sheet of s"Ooops, word censored!" paper, so she has "waffle" printed on her! but she does lay her egg, so I must have done it right!

 

Will cut some squares of wrapping paper & see how she looks, and also get the children making them at the weekend - DS will love it!

 

Sorry can't do pics as my camera is awol at the mo, must go through all my various bags to locate it.... !!

wow, that's better than mine! I think my paper is a bit too thick.

 

I was having a coffee in town today and I started trying to do it with the til receipt! I could see people watching me at other tables but I couldn't remember how to do it off the top of my head.

 

Wouldn't it be funny if you found an origami chicken on a cafe table, you'd know an omleteer had been there!

yes it's perfect isn't it, and did you notice how I got the dots on the head and body to line up perfectly! That's the skill of a true professional that is
