Anyone ever been to Kos?

We have just booked up to go there next year,& I would love to hear some opinions,please

Went about 10 years ago and stayed in Kos town.

Very much a party island with a lot of of Germans and Swedes.

At that time the Greeks were paraniod about the Turkish, so there were some areas that you could not take photo's (had some gun enplacements and dug in tanks).

All in all, if you are going for a party, great place.

Hmmmm...a party place,eh?

Welll, we have booked a quiet area,fairly near to Kos Town,so hopefully it won't be too loud!

With 2 teenage daughters its sort of hard to find the right balance between all out party & some peace & quiet for us olds

 

A day trip to Turkey is on the cards too
