stoice
Had the pics around for a while but I just thought I'd share my pics of my girls. I have two ex-batts, a bluebelle and a black rock. My mum also rescued some ex-batts - they are such characters. Nice to see them fully feathered at last. There's also pics of my run but hopefully in the new year I'll be getting a posh walk-in run built by dad. My girls live in part of my shed and my mums girls live in a wooden house. Who knows, once the walk-in run is done an eglu may follow? *fingers crossed* Anyway, here's a link CLICK

Egluntyne
Lovely. Is one of them wearing purple knickers?
Patricia7455
I love them, they look so lovely, purple knickers and all. Your set up and garden look fab as well. I have a neighbour called Mabel. Just debating whether I would dare to call a chicken after her or not. She might be flattered, but on the other hand ........!
Suzy
That's what mine will eventually look like - does that mean the floppy combs they currently have will receed and go up? My 3 still look quite bald..... the few feathers they do have are being pecked out. I'm off to create a purple chicken I think!
dancing cloud
Aaww! They're beautiful and look very healthy and happy - well done you (and them) does that mean the floppy combs they currently have will receed and go up? My Dandelion had a proper floppy hat that fell over one eye when I collected her and within a few weeks it had become upright. Their combs also become less pale and more red. It always makes my day to see ex-batts looking happy
