mrs chook
Prissy, our lovely , one of the older pair we got two year ago died last week. I had been ill with asthma so hubby had been tending to them all. He'd said that Bertha her room mate had tried to get in with the youngies to sleep for the last two nights, perhaps sensing Priss wasn't well. Anyway, he came in saying she didn't look too well, so I brought her into the house wrapped her in a towel, and cuddled her gently until she died in my arms a short time later. RIP our gingernut sweetie. The other three all live together now in one eglu and seem to be firm friends, so that's lovely.
