B&Q are having a sale, 20% off plus another 15% off if you spend over £100. We're hoping to get a bargain shed for our lottie :D

I saw your photos. It looks great  I'm sure it will be a lot of hard work but once you've got it all dug over and planted there will be no stopping you!!

What about having an allotment party and take a disposal bbq, food and beer and get everyone to take a spade? Would be all done in an evening

Can't see Boots listed. I've been on and sent £100 on there and spent about the same in the Next sale this morning. Most of the Next stuff was trousers for the OH. He's 34XL so not a popular size so always plenty in stock. the downside is they never sell them instore so you can never look before you buy.

I am also going to look in Yarmouth Boots as they seem to have much better clearance sales than any other that I've been to. I have saved my Boots points up all year and taken advantage of using the machine in-store for extra points this year and I have over £120 on my Boots card which I could use in the sales. It's been worth putting my card in and taking the time to look at the offers.

I had fun in Boots today spending some gift vouchers and advantage points :D found a couple of bargains in the cookery book section of waterstones :D :D and some half price water filters in Woolies :D :D :D

Got to save some pennies for the Wiggly Wigglers and Emma Bridgewater sales that start later in the week :D:D

I saw some Denby / James Martin serving sets that would go with my Denby White set reduced from £40 to £20. The boxes were stacked on the floor with a sign on top saying 50 per cent off marked price so I queried it with the assistant who was really sharp and pointed out to me that it must be the case as the sign was right on top of the boxes. I took it to the till and was asked for £20. I explained to the assistant what the other lady had said and she asked her about the price. She was as sharp with the lady who was serving me as she had been with me. They had a minor argument in front of me then I was charged £10. At that point I said that I would take a second set, paid and left the store quite quickly.

The set has five dishes in it. Some are smaller and suitable for condiments but it's very versatile. Son is looking forward to the next time we have a mexican night.

This is the set...
