Joojoo
B&Q are having a sale, 20% off plus another 15% off if you spend over £100. We're hoping to get a bargain shed for our lottie I saw your photos. It looks great I'm sure it will be a lot of hard work but once you've got it all dug over and planted there will be no stopping you!! What about having an allotment party and take a disposal bbq, food and beer and get everyone to take a spade? Would be all done in an evening
Shirl
Can't see Boots listed. I've been on and sent £100 on there and spent about the same in the Next sale this morning. Most of the Next stuff was trousers for the OH. He's 34XL so not a popular size so always plenty in stock. the downside is they never sell them instore so you can never look before you buy. Janty
We are on the look out for an american style fridge freezer. We are not in desperate need for one but if a bargain appeared then we'd be tempted.
Cooks
I'd love an america style fridge freezer too, but have never managed to justify it yet, as my friedge freezer is working fine.. although if a total bargain came up it would be silly not to wouldn't it.. Janty
I am also going to look in Yarmouth Boots as they seem to have much better clearance sales than any other that I've been to. I have saved my Boots points up all year and taken advantage of using the machine in-store for extra points this year and I have over £120 on my Boots card which I could use in the sales. It's been worth putting my card in and taking the time to look at the offers.
Cinnamon
The Next sale started at 7am today, not Boxing day as it says above. Anyhow, I got the black leather biker boots that Devon wants for her birthday for half price Sadly a whole heap of other stuff fell into my online basket too
chelsea
play.com have some fantastic bargains if people are looking for xmas 2009. Some of their DVD's were £2.99-£3.99. I ordered a boxed "Alien" set of 9 DVD's for about £12. OH had the "Bourne series of films" box set also for a bargain price. Thanks for the heads up Jue. Joojoo
I've just bought more undies from La Senza - my weakness They have got some lovely ones in the sale Just had a quick look at Play.com - their sale is very good. Quadrophenia CD for £2.99 is a bargain - it's a shame I've already got it

Ygerna
I was sorely tempted by the BA flights to NY, NY, then remembered my Passport ran out last year
Janty
I saw some Denby / James Martin serving sets that would go with my Denby White set reduced from £40 to £20. The boxes were stacked on the floor with a sign on top saying 50 per cent off marked price so I queried it with the assistant who was really sharp and pointed out to me that it must be the case as the sign was right on top of the boxes. I took it to the till and was asked for £20. I explained to the assistant what the other lady had said and she asked her about the price. She was as sharp with the lady who was serving me as she had been with me. They had a minor argument in front of me then I was charged £10. At that point I said that I would take a second set, paid and left the store quite quickly. The set has five dishes in it. Some are smaller and suitable for condiments but it's very versatile. Son is looking forward to the next time we have a mexican night. This is the set... http://www.denby.co.uk/products/28321/james-martin/5-piece-serving-kit.aspx
