Ok, so now the girls are free ranging I see a real need for a pressure washer. (How do they know where the most human 'traffic' will be ).

 

I've had a quick google and have seen that prices range from peanuts to laughably scary ones.

 

It will just be used for the patio areas and the eglu, so it wont really need bells and whistles.

 

Any recomendations please?

i was looking to get one for my cube and they do a Karcher one for £59 in Argos.

My local Homebase had Karchers on special offer yesterday starting from £29

we have a Bosch, its really nothing fancy - I got it with my nectar points.

 

It does the job well, If I were to really splash out I would buy Karcher though.

Karcher here too, they are really good and very easy to use. Our always looks like new.

The ones I saw were all marked down and some great bargains to be had, they were 'yellow stickered' rather than a displayed special offer (does that make sense) so maybe just had surplus at some Homebases. The average reduction was £15-£30 so well worth seeking out

Just to give you a clue there are many different manufactures out there.

Things to think about ...

 

Do you require a Hot wash or Cold wash to wash with?

 

What are you using it for, path or car or ??????

 

How big is the machine going to be?

 

Can I move it around?

 

Is it on wheels?

 

Will I need an extension lead to use it?

 

Are there spare parts available easily?

 

Can it be stored easily?

 

Will it live in a hut or garage?

These thinks can freeze up if not protected.

 

How much money do I want to spend?

 

I have had both an expensive and a cheap one.

 

The expensive one was very poor for spare parts and my machine was discontinued inside 2 years.( 145 Pounds)

The cheap one was a copy of the expensive one and can be either replaced or I can get spares.( £49-00)

 

So it is your choice hope you get a good one and do not pay too much.

I use it for other things too.

 

It cleans the cars and unblocks drains beautifully.
