Ah yes, now you mention it the half bottle of wine I'd had with dinner might have influenced the blubbing!

 

I've just looked it up in Radio Times, and it's on Thursday 9pm on More4 (Freeview channel 14) and then repeated Monday 11.40 also on More4

 

Last series left Abby & Luka having just decided to try to work it out and deciding they would leave Chicago for Boston.

 

 

Well I meant Thursday. I have no idea why my days are still mixed up. They get like that during holidays, but surely it should be back to normal now.

I think ER has been with me for more than half my life and I think I have watched EVERY episode.

 

Got teary eyed standing in the post office queue this morning just thinking about last nights episode.

OK I found it online (phew!)

 

TBH I was a bit bored, I don't think I felt any connection with the character who was departing and I kinda wished for more of the stuff involving the characters I do like. I know that I must sound a little hard hearted to some of you but if I'd had it Sky plussed I would have ffwd a fair bit of this episode. I found it sadder when Romano died but nothing has come close to Mark Greene for me (for personal reasons as I mentioned earlier)

 

I hope the rest of the series lives up to expectations - I would love to see some of the better loved characters back. Sad to say though if they are all like this I may not watch the whole series.

 

On a positive note I was glad to see Halle (is that the right name?) has put some of the weight back on - she looked ill after she lost it all. Thats a strange comment for me to make as I'm sick of people saying "don't lose any more weight" myself!

I have watched all previous 14 series of e.r. and would be gutted if they don't show it. Please tell me it IS coming to terrestrial TV?

Well I watched it this morning, couldn't face it after Anne Frank last night. Had me sobbing again.

 

For me the most emotional part was when they wheeled Dr Pratt through the ER to the lifts tp take his organs for donation, tears were streaming down my face.

 

I liked Dr Pratt, bad boy turned good. He so wanted to succeed. What a shame he never got to hear that he had got the chief's job.

 

I've got Brothers & Sisters to watch. That usually has me laughing and crying, not sure I can take too much more emotion today. Comedies for the rest of the day I think

Brothers and sisters hasnt helped my want of a large family. I see them bicker but under it al they obviously care and I really love that large family dynamic

I love the fact that they all argue but always sort their arguments out in the end and obviously love each other. Bit more realistic than The Waltons

Oh wasn't it sad though as said before dr green dying was much worse for me.

I loved Carter and Luka, luka has lovely eyes. But George was my favourite years ago, i have the first 4 series on dvd and hope to get them all eventually
