HennyPenny
Having finally decided that we could possibly have a couple of ducks when we make our move to the country now that we know we don't necessarily need a huge pond, I came looking for a Ducklu and was sadly disappointed! I'm sure that when we were looking for the Eglu there was one specially for ducks but it seems to have disappeared! Can anyone enlighten me please? Thanks
Martin B
The ducklu is not sold in the online shop. However if you phone Omlet up I think you can order one.
Lesley
There isn't a specific Ducklu - you buy the Eglu for chickens, and just remove the wooden slats. Our ducks live in a blue one. Martin B
As simple as that then. I hope you enjoy it HennyPenny!
HennyPenny
Thanks Lesley.....what lovely pics! Now we're going to have to breed ducks too - they look gorgeous!!
ubereglu
There used to be a special duck eglu looking back in the old catalogue and it came with Omlet fencing instead of a run. I think you better ring up Omlet and see whether they still do that now.
Martin B
They do, it's just a rablu with wire.
ubereglu
It's NOT as it has a slide out droppings tray instead and it doesn't have the clippy things for the water bottle I thought. I think it's more similar to the hen one.
Martin B
It's the eglu without roosting bars then. Just labeled the ducklu. The guinlu is a rablu with a smaller run!
Lesley
I didn't realise all this was so confusing
