I love 'The Lord bless you and keep you'. I have liked the prayer since I was a child and Rutter's music works so well.

 

I love it too, and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye when the llittle Sunday school tots (ages 3-6) sing it to babies when they visit the Sunday School after their christening. I always have to stand at the back so no one can see me blub quietly to myself!

Just caught up, Ginette...how very special, I'm delighted for you.

Also, I agree with Dan ( again!) about Lenny Henry. We used to love his impressions on Tiswas. OH & I were about 20 and used to imitate David Bellamy too, after that.

Loved his (DB) enthusiasm (whatever happened to him?) but had hysterics when he visited ...the Doge City...

...it was the way he screwed up his whole face & spoke through his nose when emphasising a word...Dowwgggge City... (Absolutely magnificent! )
