Feeling very sorry for us....

Recommended Posts

Citizens Advice is a good suggestion - they can advise on benefitsand your rights re the house etc. If your ex owns a share in the house then you cannot change the locks; but if its important to keep him out, then you can apply to the court for an occupation order.

Take a look at http://www.adviceguide.org.uk to start with, which is the CAB website.

Keep strong and take care xx

sorry you are having such a bad time. You must hang on in there and find time to "rebuild " yourself in the day. Get all the best advise you can afford. I went to a cheap solicitor and ended up paying twice. If I had got the best advice the first time I would have saved alot of time, effort and tears. good luck and it will get better and you will come out the other end.

I have to say i'm one of the ones silently sendng you all my best, want to let you know that you are so brave my dad drank for years until finally drying out with the aid of AA when HE was ready anything my mum or us could say would not do it. I know that my mum was in touch with al-anon not sure how much help she found it. You are doing the best for you and your kids and i hope things improve for you real soon.

Lots of good wishes, vibes and love
