The farmer does have a point you see, it's his living and if the hens are affected by external influences it's costly. They don't like visitors for just that reason. I dont know, I'm not sure it was malicious - it just seemed to go off on a tangent. It all started well, and then just got side-tracked, you know? They still called it "urban chickens" and not "urban chickens gone bad" imho, it was just (very) badly edited. Aunty e Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 I go to my local city farm fairly regularly, and when I come home again I disinfect my wellies and won't go near my chooks until I scrubbed my hands thoroughly. I don't take similar precautions the other way unless my chooks are off colour, as they are so obviously a million times healthier than the ones on the farm. Scaremongerers. The automated reply I had from their email address informs me that the current series comes to a close soon and they will not be opening emails after 1st September. They will be back in January, apparantly.
