helenmb
Its official, as I have watched Pearl the Splash Leghorn come and go into the nest this morning having layed her 2nd - see my thread of yesterday here. Chris from Pear Tree Farm (where we got 4 of our girls) was right then as her mother layed blue eggs (they think a Legbar Cockerel must have got in at sometime) so there was a fair possibility that Pearl would too. I'm delighted as I thought her ears were quite white. So that leaves Evadne our Cream Legbar who we also got from Pear Tree Farm to start laying to see what she will deliver. Madbird also got some girls from them and Chris told Madbird that they have been mostly laying eggs. So in a way I hope this is true then I'll have could make for a very colourful Easter . We now have 8 birds from Chris at pear tree, and i must say they are lovely girls. cant wait for them to all start laying as we should have a similar range of colours too. (edited to correct my awful typing.)

Hi "the eggman cometh" I finally worked this out yesterday - doh! Took a look at your girls on your photos link, they are lovely, can see the resemblance to some of mine. I think you got yours just a few days after I did. Hope you get more eggs very soon and some colourful ones too
