Lesley
To be fair Emma - I must say that I don't sit on my backside watching daytime TV and reading magazines (well. only sometimes ) - I do all the DIY and decorating and gardening........... I'm just about to paint all the kitchen units - anything which doesn't move gets painted, and it's been standing still too long ............... and finish painting the tiles in the bathroom. I'm just waiting for a rainy day when we aren't outside.

If the weather holds off we are going to finish the final touches to our greenhouse today - guttering, shelving etc but we cant move the water butt as with the heavy rain of the last few days its virtually full

The Dogmother
We'll have to have a picture of Carl in his pinny Lesley Phil can't cook at all - which came as a bit of a shock to me - I had noticed some lovely pans hanging on his kitchen wall and thought that he was a cook He can boil and egg and make cheese on toast, but that's about it! Which is really odd for a man who loves good food. Luckily I love cooking, so he comes round to me for his meals, then takes the washing up back to put in his dishwasher I don't care, so long as it's clean and I didn't have to do it! Lesley
Get out of Annie's thread and come and chat about pinnies in the Good Life. I won't be surprised if Annie doesn't start stamping her feet any time now..............
AnnieP
I can't, my back hurts too much! OH can't cook either.... he gets sidetracked... ok I'm going to boil some water to make Annie a cup of tea....fills the kettle, notices there's a leaky tap... goes to get a spanner, notices the workshop door hinge is squeaking... goes to find oil from the shed, on his way down the garden sees that a few weeds need pulling up, plls them up, off to the compost bin, see's it needs a good forking....etc etc...... Meanwhile, I've made the tea, drunk it and put the cup in the dishwasher....
