jlo
I have been searching online without much success and I just wondered whether anyone on here had any advice. The childrens' school is raising money for a school in Rwanda. DS and his friends are keen to do an assault course as a sponsered event. I did one many years ago with Ladies' Circle but am not sure about the best way to go about contacting an army unit to ask if this is possible. A bit of a long shot but does anyone have any ideas??? Karen & co.
I've done a couple of assault courses in the past, the original Krypton Factor one up on the moors somewhere and one at an Army base camp near to Chester, I'm not sure how they were organised, but could you try contacting the nearest Army base and seeing if they allow the public to use the equipment to raise money for charity Good luck finding somewhere Karen x

The Dogmother
Try your local TA centre - they usually have one.
craftyhunnypie
Outward bound centres or Business team building centres would have them, not sure where they are though. Emma.x
Clur
Maybe contact the military college in Sandhurst? My hubby did an assault course there when he was in Scouts. Also have a look at www.goape.co.uk
Phonix
I done one with school while doing A levels at an army base and it was fab! I think it was at Catterick in the North! xXx
jlo
Thanks for all the replies. I have done Go Ape before and that was a great laugh. I don't want to get the kids to pay too much as we will be asking people to sponsor them. I have a few ideas to get started on though - ta!
