Well, it was a sad morning for me as we had to get Balti put to sleep. She only had two weeks with us but although we followed all the advice for introducing new hens to an existing flock, she did not fair well and was so pecked we felt it was best to not let her suffer anymore.

 

The vet was just fantastic and so compassionate.

 

This now leaves us with our 3 "originals" and our newbie, Korma. Only time will tell. Chooks can be so unkind sometimes.
