4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Just wondered we have Sky and SkyPlus. Sky stopped working earlier and now SkyPlus has stopped too. OH who sorts these things is away on a course, I just wondered if any of you had any ideas.

 

ES has had to watch a DVD and I am on here

have you tried rebooting it - it needs doing every so often.

Just switch it off at the wall, switch it back on again, wait 2 mins then thurn the Sky box on - mine had to be done last night.

Hope it sorts it.

Its worth trying again Chrissie, & leaving the box turned off for 10 mins or so.

Fingers crossed.

If you dont mind loosing all the programmes in your planner you could try a full system reset.

 

1. Pull out plug from mains.

2. Hold the 2 buttons that are on either side of the select button on the front of the box.

3. Keep them held while plugging box back into mains.

4. Still keeping them held wait until all 4 lights light up on box.

5. Now press the select button and the gteen lights will start to go backwards.

6. Once it stops it will return to standby and then wait a couple of mins. You should now be able to turn on your box again.

Just to say ours stopped working this morning, can't even switch it off or on with the remote. I assumed our dish was covered in snow?

Thanks everyone for the advice, rebooted it again and it is now working.

 

Its good to know you are there when help is needed and OH is away, his new job means he's away quite a lot now.
