Ain't Nobody Here
After escaping a few weeks ago and ending up inside the back of our piano (not easy to get out but a lucky grab got him eventually ), Oscar's done it again. Came down this morning and as OH and I were standing by the piano, all we could hear was "plink, plink, twang" . Sounded like a ghost in the piano . Thank goodness we knew it was Oscar . Anyway, here he is being lured by the little drops he loves - I sneaked up behind (well my hand did) and managed to grab him - whew . Gamebird
You'll have to rename him Mozart.

new_minilops
Haha!! I had a hamster, Roland, who escaped once and managed to get under the floorboards, we only realised when we could hear little feet running under ours!! The floorboards ran the whole width of the house so figuring out which strip he was under then getting him out was fun!! Ended up ripping up a floorboard in my room and coaxing him out with treats - his usual lovely blonde fur was black though!!!! My brothers hamster liked to escape too and we found her eating her way through a WHOLE easter egg once!!! They are great little characters!!! Redwing
It never fails to amaze me how tiny animals can have such massive personalities (sp? - its late!) Its a good job you heard him - he could have been in there for weeks

Ain't Nobody Here
Oh my word, he's done it again . ES came down this morning and immediately noticed his cage door was open . Moment of panic (again ) but we've got the measure of the little varmint . Opened the piano lid and there he was . Quick grab and he's back home . Don't know who left the door open (or when) . Might have been me .
Chickvic
Many moons ago when we had a hamster, we had to peg the cage door shut because he always escaped too He had a tall cage with a door at the top and bottom so we used bright coloured pegs and we knew at a glance if they were both shut - which was essential with 3 cats

Ain't Nobody Here
I have actually considered sending Oscar instead of YS to the weekly keyboard lessons . He does more practice after all .

Yorkshire Pudding
I have actually considered sending Oscar instead of YS to the weekly keyboard lessons . He does more practice after all . that sounds very familiar! Reminds me of the musical cat someone posted on here a while ago - the one who played the piano (but not from the inside!).
