ruth1
Ive lost 2 pond fish in the last week, my ghost Koi ( I think) and a lemon comet. The weather has been so cold here since the beginning of dec( usually sitting around freezing, we've just got used to it) The pond has been frozen over so thickly, fairly constantly im not really surprised but I feel sorry for them and I hope the remaining 4 are going to be ok. Its a nightmare keeping an airhole in it.
Lewis
Have you tried putting a tennis ball in the pond? When the pond freezes over, you push the tennis ball, and there is an airhole.
MadMitch
Do you filter your water? We keep our filter going all the time and this has meant that the pond has not frozen even though it has been as low as -
Cooks
our pump runs constantly but it still gets frozen over my husband was like this as he really didn't think that would happen.
