4Clucks-minusOne
What is the best nest box material to use? I started with shredded paper but they kept eating it. I've now used straw which is okay for the first day but soon gets wet with poo and is often pulled out into the run and over the bars. Any other suggestions please? Mollystar
I use newspaper topped with sawdust/shavings, the little "Ooops, word censored!"s throw it out 9/10 though
Chicken Licken
Hemcore for me (aubiose by another name). It is wonderful - clean, dry, and they can't throw it around too much.
fluffyknickers
Hi, I posted the same and ran a little survey. Seems aubiose or similar is the favourite so far. x
Purplemaniacs
I use Easibed but am going to try Auboise now that an omleteer has told me of a local supplier. Chrissie
