ruth1 Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 What a fantastic day I managed to meet up with Vanessa which was fantastic, I'm looking forward to meeting up again in April because today wasnt the quietest venue. sorry guys you are about to experience picture overload Gytha my star chook was second in her class but i forgot to take a pic of her in the pen with her card, so this is her this morning Liliths eggs were second in her class Lemons eggs were first in her class and best large fowl eggs overall- so she got a rosette too - The competition Needless to say I was completely stunned and am so proud of my girls. I also managed to chat to lots of experienced judges about eggs and chooks and met a lot of people in general. I have been encouraged to keep showing Gytha as apparently she is a very nice chook,By a really helpful Orpington judge who was telling me what all her good points were and what to look for.
