ali-s
What did you do with your spare time before getting addicted on the forum? Did you people who come here at work actually do more work? I probably watched the TV more, did more housework and had a proper conversation with my OH. Sadly I do not have access to a computer at work
Mrs Frugal
Oh Ali, in the days BO (Before Omlet) I had a spotless house. The windows were clean, the toilets sparkled and the floors were so immaculate you could eat your dinner off them. It's a very different story now . I also had a much smaller bum! All the hours of sitting in front of the computer has allowed it to spread alarmingly sideways so I now look as if I've got saddlebags strapped to me ! Wouldn't be away from you all now though and a bit of dirt around the house hasn't hurt any of us !

Mel (& Paul)
Extra good mood today - wedding anniversary, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast, lots of money spent on Count Your Chickens and still 1 1/2 days before we have to go back to work

Cate in NZ
I think I exchanged TV watching for computer time..... I so rarely watch TV these days, and I don't miss it at all. I'd much prefer to spend my time on the forum chatting to you all Oh, and I'd recently finished a heavy duty degree when I joined the forum, so I felt like I had lots of spare time back then, freed from the tyranny of studying. I no longer have access to the forum at work.... but in fact very rarely ever got the opportunity to log on at work, too busy most of the time doing what they actually pay me to do I was never great at housework, even before the forum so spending so much time on the forum doesn't actually affect the cleanliness or otherwise of the house But it's not just the obvious sitting at the computer that takes up my spare time these days, it's the inspiration that you all provide with gardening ideas and delicious recipes to try out, and so on. I'm struggling at the moment to find time for the forum (can have as much time as I like today though, son at football, hubby refereeing a football match, daughter out with friends.... so I've got sole possession of the computer for now ), but I do miss it when I can't log on.... I do need regular forum fixes these days. I am a forum addict
Popcorn
I miss you guys terribly since having Stefan (although I wouldn't give him away for you ) Towards the end of my pregnancy, I spent every waking hour on the forum. I was too heavy and uncomfortable to do anything other than sit. I've gone cold turkey over the last 15 weeks and I'm sure I had withdrawl symptoms. Thanks for not forgetting me though Happy Anniversary Mel and (&Paul)

PurpleHen
Before the forum - I didn't used to have to right off a good 36 hours on return from holiday to try and catch up with everything! All the washing etc would be done by now otherwise - instead only one load has made it through

Lesley
I also, used to have a much cleaner house I still fit most things in but I get up earlier and go to bed later. The only thing that seems to have suffered is my reading - I can't get through the amount I used to - I have magazines going back months, which i haven't read properly Who needs sleep anyway? One Man Banned
Thanks for asking Mel Still had it yesterday morning then it went, but got up this morning with an amazing sore throat!! I'm off to find an incinerator and am about to jump in. Last weekend I had a nasty bout of Gasto Enterits and lost 1/2 a stone - still had stomach cramps on Friday Feeling very sorry for myself at the moment! Mel (& Paul)
oh dear now. go and lie down on the sofa and I will find one of those nice fluffy throws to put over you. Would you like some brandy, hot water, lemon and honey - works wonders for sore throats. Shall I draw the curtains for you Just relax and you will soon feel better (oh and is gasto enteritis catching coz I REALLY need to lose some weight)

Lesley
Sounds like you need a Vet Andrew Hope you soon feel better. I have weeks like that where it is one thing after another - now I'm running away from that cough - half stone weight loss or not
