buffie
Before the forum I would feel lonely, as I work from home, and would spend hours cleaning and talking to the feather and fur kids. Not a keen phone person, like to see people. The forum let me chatter for hours and feel like I always had some friends round I still talk to the 'kids' but have my friends here too. I also would not be upstairs on a sunday chatting to anyone I must go and see Mikey before he runs off with someone who 'vows' never to go on a forum have a fun day BBx

The Dogmother
I now try not to log on at home because my time to get things done is limited enough as it is. But I have the forum open in the background while I am working so that I can dip in and out, some days more than others depending on how busy I am. I may get slightly less work done than I used to, but I have gained so many lovely new friends and learned so much from the forum.
Mrs Frugal
Indeed! Hang the housework! I've just had Gina and Stefan here for the afternoon and we've had a lovely time nattering away. I'd never have met Gina if it hadn't been for the forum and I'd have missed out on having a terrific friend.
