nessie
Hopefully! We went last year for the first time and had reserved tickets for this year but missed the deadline to pay the balance and lost them so now will have to try on the 5th April! Chickpea
Might be working as a recycler there again this year, but it depends on how our market garden project is going and whether it will survive if we go away! So we'll see...great fun you'll have a great time!!

chickencam
I am so one day we will go. We will make do with our local festival Wychwood, it was great last year, with Duffy and the Blockheads. So far we have Supergrass and The Beat, doubt we will get a Duffy equivalent this year they must have booked her just before she hit big. chelsea
funny you should say as I was looking at Glastonbury online yesterday. I have always fancied it......and Reading & Rock Am Ring in Germany.... At least with those tipees you get posh toilets!
Cinnamon
My daughter is going to Reading again this year, for the weekend, but not camping as we live so near Its a great line up - she is really looking forward to it. The only one I fancy is Cornbury, which is pretty close to me, & has The Magic Numbers playing, who I love
badgerbluebadger
I am going this year again - wish I could bring the girls with me. As I went in 2007 a very muddy year - I would make your sure you pitch your tent high up away from the the stages unless you want to be in a sea of mud if it rains! Guest
oooh Strummercamp sounds BRILLIANT! I wish it wasn't so far away. I'm going to the Saturday of V in Chelmsford - I chose the Saturday as the Specials are playing. This year I've managed to end up funding my day. I didn't buy a ticket as we were due to be away that weekend then that night we changed the holiday but all the tickets were sold out. I realised if I wanted to go I would have to pay Ebay prices. So I bagged tickets for the next big event to go on sale (Michael Jackson!) and sold them to pay for the V ticket - I made enough profit to pay for the WHOLE ticket and probably all my spending on the day to. I could have been greedy and made a lot more as I bought 4 tickets but I sold the other two to my boss as he had been busy driving his sick wife to her sisters when they went on sale. I also fancy Madstock though - been to a couple of them in the past and they were great!
Clash City Rocker
So far we have Supergrass and The Beat, doubt we will get a Duffy equivalent this year they must have booked her just before she hit big. I saw the Beat recently they were brilliant, Ranking Roger now as his son with him as a vocalist. At the time they'd changed "stand down Margaret" into "stand down George" still a great song. We're going to see the Specials (without JD ) on Sat 25 April at B'ham Academy, 1st night of their tour. Also going to the Paul Weller gig at Westonbirt Arboretum in June (Forestry Commission gigs).
