maggiesfarm
Hello again I posted a week or so ago about my Light Sussex being attacked by my neighbours terrier. She seems to be ok, eating and free ranging and being herself, the laying has stopped, which is no surprise, but now she has lost her voice.... and she was one loud hen. Do you think the dog attack may have something to do with it or could it be something else? The noise she is making sounds like she has a sore throat, sort of like a wheeze rather than a squawk, sorry, I don't even make sense to myself here Could she have squawked herself ho"Ooops, word censored!" during the attack. Any advice or help would be gladly received. Mags
Plum
Oh poor thing after what she went through. I would have thought that if it was from the attack it would have happened sooner. She may have a respiratory disease. Does she have a rattly chest as well? Sounds like you are best getting her checked out.
