Mrs Frugal
Something's going on in London again. Tube stations have been sealed off and there are unconfirmed reports of gunfire, a possible nail bomb, armed police entering a hospital, men in chemical warfare suits? No idea what's happening but ....... BBC News Sky News Looks like this is going to become a way of life

Mrs Frugal
Very confusing, isn't it - hope whatever it is turns out to be a minor incident. Worrying though..............good luck to everyone in London and those with friends and family there.

buffie
Hope everyones friends and loved one's are ok. Mikey was in London and has called to say he's ok. He called me this morning quite peeved as he's left his wallet at home. Had to change a meeting and then met a friend who gave him some money. He said his day wasn't going well but he hoped it would get better. It really did get better as the changed appointment meant he wasn't at the oval tube station. Fate!! We have to go about our daily lives don't we. Lets just hope everyone is safe tonight. Bx
Cate in NZ
Again Hubby seems to be back in the thick of it- recieved a 1 word text 10 mins ago, so he's OK, but doing heaven only knows what. He'd only just got back to semi-normal working hours after the last blasts. London's a great city, vibrant, diverse, exciting, I love it How can these murderers imagine they have the right to try and damage it. And they are murderers (or attempted murderers)- I won't dignify them with the title "terrorist", terrorists have targets and grievances and a point to make (regardless of whether or not the majority agree with them). What are these individuals trying to achieve by trying to kill themselves and others? I hope that none of you have friends or family involved in this latest attack. Mel (& Paul)
We have family and friends in that part of London. Luckily, both last time and this they were not caught up in the incident, but only in the aftermath and confusion. I was driving when I heard the first reports, so got on to them straight away. Have just heard that they have arrested someone but guess only time will tell what did happen
Popcorn
The latest at 4.30pm is that they have made an arrest. Only one injured, no fatalities (thank goodness) Most of Shepherds Bush is sealed off - no-one leaving, no-one entering. The blast on the bus shattered the windows, not sure what's going on in the tubes. Big Sigh. What a mess eh? Hope all is ok with everyone. Guest
i was listening to 5Live on the way home and they made the point that it was strange that all the bombs seemed to have malfunctioned! or maybe they were just a reminder that they are still among us! it is vile, that these people think for one minute that blowing people up will alter anything.
