Plum
It was an unusual game with 3 teams consisting of one player each with a lilac football (pet ball filled with mixed corn). After kickoff and a bit of passing with frequent stops for refreshment things began to get dirty. Team Grackle (usually the underdog) found its feet and faced up to the opposition. Some psychological warfare ensued and the opposition stood off. Team Pigeon tried for a tackle and Team Grackle rushed at her in a move more reminiscent of Rugby. Team Sparrow joined in and committed a fowl against Team Pigeon biting her on the neck. Team Sparrow was dragged across the field attached to Team Pigeons kit. A red card was shown and Team Pigeon was sent to the sideline to observe the match from there. There was a lot of shouting from Team Pigeon's captain but the ref was nowhere to be found. Team Pigeon has lodged an appeal. Following the violence on the field we are sorry to announce there will be no more football held at Chicken Cottage home to teams Grackle, Pigeon and Sparrow. Anyone for scrabble.

HENthusiastic
We have similar bad behaviour over in Queensbury, where the girls play mushroom rugby. If there were an referee present I am sure that every player would be sent to the benches.
