Old Speckled Hen
I listen to Terry Wogan in the morning while I get ready; about the only thing that I can stand. OMG Janet and John HOW does he get away with it
Valkyrie
I love the Janet and John stories - but what really makes it for me is the uncontrollable laughing from Tel and friends who try to continue reading the script and all you hear is wheezing a la Muttley. When I was on the school run and got held up at the motorway roundabout, I always wondered what other drivers thought of this silly woman laughing her head off with tears rolling down her face. Rona
What a wonderful name, and brought back memories. My favourite Dobermann was called Rona. x I'm afraid I'm nothing like a Dobermann (ie not slim and elegant) but I was sometimes called Rotweiller years ago when I was Personnel Manager for an engineering factory. Mind you other nicknames ranged from the Terminator to Mum or Auntie so it just depended on whether is was someone who was getting into trouble or someone who needed my help getting out of trouble PS. Rona is an island off the west coast of Scotland and is Gaelic for a baby seal

Valkyrie
I am so going to have to get the CD's for Children in Need - I have missed so many now. I showed DD the pic of Su - she really wasn't impressed at all! Especially when we all said "that's you, that is"! Edited to add - she has gone to college today in Rod Steward style skin tight trousers - red with leopard spots. On the top half she is wearing a summery dress with pastel plaid and a black hoodie sporting a print of a strap with big bullets - shoes are black pumps with red tartan (at least some colour match then)! chickencam
Both of my daughters like to experiment with strange outfits from time to time and I applaud them for it. You should be able to dress in whatever way makes you happy. My ED made a denim mini skirt from and old pair of jeans the other day and it looks fab on her. Sue Pollard has always had eccentric taste, we saw her in panto about 18months ago and she was fab

chrisnrob
I have met her and she does have a cracking sense of humour Yeh, I met her too and she does have a fab sense of humour. Her sense of humour and "mad" presenting style has often had my laughing out loud when the clock radio pings into life in a morning Rob
