Boybeck
I have noticed that the eggs from my three chickens have much harder shells than shop bought ones. The hardness often suprises people when they come to crack them. Do you find this? I presume it's a good thing
Ain't Nobody Here
That is certainly a good thing . I have the opposite problem with shells that break with a tiny tap . I'm giving mine limestone flour to try to get them hard again .
Chickvic
It's quite surprising when you go to crack an egg isn't it? I think it's a good thing, they are having a good diet!
Boybeck
I'm glad it means they are healthy. It's nice to know they are happy chickens
