After my zoo of a day, stress, stress I have just noticed that Little Miss Sunshine is on tonight at 9.00pm on Channel 4 It's a lovely film, just what I need to cheer me up

Super movie.

Its the one I dig out to watch in bed when I am sick - its such a feelgood,well acted piece, along with Sideways & Priscilla

 

I adore Greg Kinnear, & think he is a highly underated actor.

I've watched and loved this film before. The little girl is so good.

I tried watching it but after about 10 mins the swearing was too much for me - reminded me of being at school!

I missed the first half (thank you kids ) but I love love love that film!

I missed seeing it at the cinema but made sure I saw it this time. What a great film, I loved the human warmth and humour of it. I couldn't imagine what routine the little girl would do for the competition, and it was fantastic - I laughed and laughed, but it was also so poignant, and innocent in a way that the others weren't.

Yes it was really good!

 

Interesting that all the little girls who were behaving in a really sexualised manner were accepted, whilst the one little girl who behaved like a little girl having fun and playing 'dress up' in a childlike way was seen as shocking! I assume theres some truth to the depiction of that side of America?

 

I just loved all the crazy characters in the family!
