We tried so hard to find something in the programme - but it was abysmal! It was such a shame because we were looking forward to it. No wonder it was on Dave - we didn't even manage to finish one programme it was that awful. Those that missed it shouldn't worry.

I kept going but sadly it didn't improve.

 

I recorded last nights one but at the moment watching a film I've seen a million times and know all the words to (not just the songs - the entire script!) seems more appealing.

 

Shame as like you I was a huge fan.

We sat through the first Red Dwarf but didn't bother after that. I so wanted it to be back to being good but a quick glimpse at the old episodes that followed the first one just showed it up for just how bad it was.

 

It really needed the Grant-Naylor writing partnership - Naylor solo just doesn't cut it.

I've seen all three now due to raging insomnia and there were a few flashes of brilliance in a load of dross.

 

I particularly enjoyed when 2 kids on a bus told Lister that the special programmes were on "Dave" He was rather chuffed to find there was a whole channel named after him - and that made me chuckle. If only they'd gone on to tell him about Dave Ja Vu - which always makes me chuckle!!!

I couldn't find it in the listings, well the first 5 channels - I forgot it was on Dave

I am so disappointed by it - what a total heap of pants it was!

 

I am a big RD fan & have been looking forward to this for yonks, but it was abysmal.

 

The Cat proved to be the only funny bit in it, just by being The Cat

We were really disappointed with it too was so looking forward to it but it just didn't deliver. Shame really they ruined an excellent series. No continuity at all (been watching the other series!) no explanation for anything

We saw the end of the last one and some of the making of and to be honest the making made us laugh more

I thought the first episide was really poor, didn't make me laugh at all. I don't normally like canned laughter, but they used it in the other series and they hould have used it here too.

 

The second episode was better, the carbug made me smile; and I actually did laugh out loud at the third one.
