Does anyone know if you can get screens to put over doors so that you can leave doors open but insects cant get in? I am sure I saw something on TV recently and I know you get them in Australia. my 7 yr old son freaks out when flies come in house. I'm not keen but when I say freak I mean it. I suspect i am gonna need prof help eventually. I use insect repellant candles and he is ok on allotment and others gardens so I suspect it is a behavioural thing. i do try to understand as I'm snake phobic. If anyone knows where to get something like this from I'd be grateful.

Yes - you can get them from some caravan or camping shops over here - fly screens. Or look in camping magazines/internet for suppliers. You might need them made to order.

 

You can also get those curtain things - hanging strips etc which also stop flies coming in. My local hardware/odds and ends shop has them and they were very cheap

I saw a two peice mesh screen in the latest Kleeneze brochure, it hangs at the top and the panels overlap and you sort of separate them and walk through

I fully sympathise. I'm not freaked out by flies, but if I see a frog - I hyperventilate. It's so bad, it's embarrassing for me when I'm with people who don't know about this 'problem'.

I once sat in my car in our driveway & phoned for my hubby to rescue me!

I crossed a little bridge over an ornamental pond in a Hotel in Thailand. It was a good shortcut from the beach road, to the market & shopping centre road. My mum has never seen me so bad - she thought I would pass out. My breathing went terrible & I was shaking so much.

So I understand how it is. Get them screens & maybe a mosquito net for round his bed!
