Ain't Nobody Here
So sorry, Michelle (I've replied to your other thread) .
sgregson
I'm sorry to hear about Bonbon. It is soooo upsetting when you have to have a pet PTS but take comfort from the fact that she isn't suffering anymore and you've done the right thing. I have no experience of having hens yet (ours arrive next week) but I've had to have a couple of cats PTS and it is so distressing.... they're part of the family after all. Sending you a BIG hug Sal x

Margalot
Thank you for your kind thoughts. I have just been and sat in with my 3 hens and given them a lovely treat of corn and some cuddles. Just doesn't look the same out there, she was my white hen

Mrs Frugal
So sorry, Michelle. I had to have my beloved Clarry put to sleep last January and it broke my heart as we loved her to bits and a month later, little Izzy had to be put to sleep too. It's just horrible to have to make the decision but you know it's the kindest thing you can do when they are poorly and suffering and even though it hurts so much now, remember all the good, happy things about her which always made you smile. Amy Walpole
My goodness! I am sorry to read about your Bonbon, she sounded lovely. My Amber has been a little off colour recently, and I know of the concern felt for them, one becomes strangely attached to them. I wish you peace, Amy. x
