The idea of stacking is something my siste has with her engagement and wedding rings as her engagement ring has a rather lovely diamond on it and then the wedding ring has a little dip in it so it fits under the engagement ring. The Lark Ascending, played by a wonderful violinist friend of mine who will also be a witness; then At Last by Etta James and Feeling Good by Nina Simone when we sign the register and then my violinist friend again to play us out - this time with the theme tune from The Muppet Show! It's a pale sapphire which goes purples, pinks, pale blue, grey or almost clear depending on the light. I have a couple of thin plain silver bands either side of it now to protect it, and my wedding band will be about the same thickness, and plain rose gold.
