Happy May day :)

Recommended Posts

Anyone doing anything maydayish?

Husband was up at 4.30 to play the fiddle for our Morris side, followed by a full cooked breakfast. I decided against going as I'm playing throughout the day tomorrow at the Rochester Sweeps festival and as I've got M.E I didn't want to put my body under too much strain in one go!

Also we're at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket on Monday with May day celebrations. Morris dancing (playing again) , maypole, green man mask making, Green man treasure hunt.

A pinch and a punch for the first of the month!

No real plans other than to spend a bit of time in the garden. Bogwoppit can play in his sandpit and he has discovered that he likes feeding the chickens! I've got a few plants to plant......oh and washing to hang out - I love good drying days, gives me real pleasure to watch it drying (am I sad?! )

Morris dancing sounds like fun!

Happy 18th to your ES Poachedegg :D

My parents met on a blind date at the Knutsford May Day celebrations many years ago :D

I keep saying I'll take the children if it is still going, as we used to have family there but since Mum died I haven't been back :(

Feeding the washing machine this morning, and taking ES to see a Neurologist this afternoon :anxious:

Happy May Day everyone :D
