I'm soooo going to check at 11 o'clock!! Well, 5 past, give her chance to get up :lol::lol::lol:

They've gone to bed now, eggless again :wall: I've got the fabulous bacon out of the freezer today so it'd better be tomorrow or Saturday or they're in big trouble :lol:

Well here we are at 10.45 and is she in the nest box getting ready :?: Noooooo, she's out in the run bold as brass, not even looking ashamed of herself :evil: She is looking rather huffed about all the wind we have here today though but I have no sympathy for her :talk2hand: Until she lays an egg, we're not talking :notalk:

....until later on when the kids come home and they all come out to play that is :lol::lol::lol:

One of my POL laid an egg in the box on the way home. Unfortunately someone stood on it and broke it :!:

Jx

Hmmm - am I more jealous of that or the fact that you're in central France :mrgreen: ?????

Sadly, the egg :lol::lol::lol:

They'll be around 23 weeks now so not exactly ancient yet, I think I'd be a lot less bothered if the breeder hadn't said Beaky was about ready to lay and got my hopes up!! :(

We had our big breakfast this morning with shop bought eggs, I've given up hope now :lol:

Bet they all wait til we go on hols in 5 weeks and then lay like mad for our friends :anxious:

I definitely think they're all having us on Pudleduck, I reckon eggs come from trees or something!! Ours are definitely 23 weeks - they were 'around 18 weeks' when we got them (apparantly) and we've had them for 5 long weeks today! I have started calling them our 'ornamental hens' :lol:

You got some great shots there Puddleduck, it's all I can do to get mine on shot never mind such great head shots! I swear I heard Mrs Little shout 'no paps please' last time I got the camera near her :lol:
