Lovely cube - you don't see many blue ones on here

I'm surprised that there's not many blue cubes - it is a lovely colour! My company name is 'Kingfisher Blue' and as the chickens are making the eggs for me to make the cakes it all ties in (although DH did want the purple one!).

 

Here it is with all around it now done - the boards are blue link-a-bord and we have pinned them down by making the dowels longer and it is pretty strong:

Looking good and I have had mine 3 weeks and am delighted with it cant rate the enough & chickens are so easy to look after...your is well coordinated then!

Hi Jenny - sorry I've taken so long to reply to this, it's been a bit of a busy week (see my thread in Nesting Box )

 

The ground cover is recycled softwood chips from http://www.rainbowwoodchips.co.uk/ - they are very good and we were trying to keep it quite 'green'. We have got some plants poking through now but the ones in the omlet won't be there for long, I suspect and the others I'll zap with a pet-friendly weed gun when I get round to it!

Everything is going well at the moment - he's home and on a super-low fat diet until his op in June! The (only) good thing about all this is we are not going away on the 23rd for a week now so it means we may get our chooks a little earlier than we originally thought - I'm goingto give the breeder a ring on Monday and get a collection date
