21st Garden party

hi

 

anybody got any good ideas for a 21st birthday party ( l she really 21 and a half) but christmas eve is a hard time to have a birthday party so we said we would have a garden party

 

 

so far I am getting LED lights to put into balloons , going to check if my tent will fit on small patch of non chickened grass

 

I have a very big tent and I plan put table & chairs etc in there

looking for ideas for cheap & cheerful decorations

any suggestions welcome :)

 

going pinch big rug out of DS 3 bedroom to put on mat , need pillows or somethng - bean bags too dear :(

Vodka jellies! :wink: Big bowl of Sangria. Will have a think about decs... but you could make it like a hareem tent, by hanging up sarongs & fairy lights! :D Some garden oil lamp torch things. It will be like rock the kasbah! :lol:

 

Poundshop is your best friend for decorations - it's amazing what can be done with a bit of imagination!

oh dear this is going to be hard like both the christmas idea and the rock the kasbah! idea

 

still to find my tent , it's the house somewhere :lol:

 

I forget how big it is until I put it up :)

got a choclate fountain so that a must :)

 

aprrox 3 metres maybe 4 across not incuding bedrooms was planning to open the doors

 

going to make decoration suprise for DD :)

How about a coloured theme?

Every year I have a BBQ and have been doing a coloured theme for the past 5 years. Everyone has to wear the colour etc. I've done pink, white and diamonds, red, purple ......this year its yellow (and I'm going to be 40!).

For the pink one I had loads of balloons tied around the marquee poles, which cost me an arm and a leg. Last year I made some huge purple bows with curling ribbon tassles which went to the floor, covering up the marquee poles. Cost me about £5 and the result was great. Hope you have a great time.
