chicken prank!

Recommended Posts

as it was the last day of sixth form today, some kids got a bunch of chickens and let them lose through the school, chaos shortly followed.

it was very funny, the teachers were NOT impressed, and one approached me to take them home with me because they knew i had chickens and they didnt know where these ones could go.

was severely tempted and declined with great sadness, but a nice childrens farm took them in the end :)

I wondered where they got them from.

The famous prank around here on the last day of sixth form is when they got 2 sheep, sprayed a number 1 and a number 3 on their backs and released them around school. They spent ages chasing these sheep and caught them, then spent the same time again looking for sheep number 2

Ok All youngsters do daft things but cant stand it when animals are poked fun at.....its just not cool :shameonu:

Next time tell them to use their own brains for fun and not the animals....I bet the majority of pupils were too frightened to speak out at the cruelty(peer pressure) but bet most of them at the back of their tiny minds realised this was not too funny really???? As they must have been transported in a car or other transport to get them there..would love to know where they came from ie stolen or bought....poor chicky doodles :(

hope the culprits parents get informed...quite a high brow area over West Essex way..I know the area well, things have obviously gone down hill lately..

indie

Very irresponsible young adults stressing chickens like that. Could they not have caused a riot & had some fun without the use of poor chooks? Disgusting behaviour!

Not sure I'd call them young adults - not a grown up thing to do at all, children :shameonu:

the chickens weren't stolen, not sure where that came from, the boy who did the prank lives on a chicken farm, but obviously didn't own up to owning them afterwards, or the school would have got him in trouble.

the chickens were not distressed im sure, or i wouldnt have posted in a funny view. it was before school with no-one in the corridors, and the chickens were all put together in a corridor and corn chucked everywhere so they just walked around pecking and pooping as per usual, which didnt make the teachers too happy! :) x

Lol, I agree last day of school pranks are funny. But I think its tight when animals are involved :( .

And yeah, where did they come from in the first place?! They could have been stolen from someones garden ...

I agree, school pranks can be a laugh but when it invovles animals that's when I draw the line

I'm glad it didn't distress the chickens but it would have been better if they weren't involved at all.

glad he found it funny...NOT there is enough animal cruelty going on in the world... we cant prevent, without someone with knowledge and ownership taking the micky of his own animals, he is sad and sick and does not deserve to keep chickens... I think his parents should be informed, sorry but joke or not this is inexcusable... not only is it in total disregard for the chickens but teaches all the other pupils that they can be used for funny tricks and not shown any respect... take heed young man someone may just lock you in a prison for fun one day and not care whether you come to any harm or not!!
